Dysart Pancake Breakfast

On Sunday, January 14, 2018, the Dysart Historical Society will be hosting a pancake breakfast at the Dysart Community Building, 418 Main Street, Dysart, Iowa, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.  They will be serving pancakes, sausage, a fruit cup, and beverages for a free will donation.  All proceeds will to to the roof replacement fund for the 124-year-old building that houses their museum, the former Peace Church.

Hunters Harvest Breakfasts 2017

Hunters and farmers in Tama County, Iowa, you’ve got two great options for breakfast this Saturday, October 28, 2017.  Come and enjoy a hauntingly good breakfast!  All are welcome, not just hunters and farmers.  🙂

The Christ United Methodist Church at 301 S. Broadway, Toledo, Iowa, is hosting a hunter’s harvest breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.  The menu includes scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, juice, milk, and coffee.  Tickets are just $8.

The Dysart Fire Department is hosting its annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the Dysart, Iowa fire station on Main Street from 7:00 a.m. to noon.  The menu includes sausage patties and light golden brown pancakes.  It’s a free will donation.

Lincoln AmVets Prime Rib Supper 2017

Help support your local veterans and enjoy a fabulous prime rib meal sponsored by the Lincoln AmVets Post #10.  It will be held at the AmVet Hall on Main Street in Lincoln, Iowa, on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Come early to enjoy some cocktails and socialize before the meal.  Raffle items include a quarter beef and a Charles Freitag print.  For more details, call 641-473-2152.

All-You-Can-Eat Nut Fry

The Tama-Toledo Eagles Club is having an all-you-can-eat nut fry on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  It will be at the Eagles Club located at 112 E. 3rd Street, Tama, Iowa.  They will also be serving ham ball dinners and chicken tenders dinners.

Also, starting October 4, the Tama-Toledo Eagles will be serving soup & sandwiches at the Eagles Club from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and continuing every Wednesday.  For more information, call 641-484-4580.
